Indus, perfect big water pfd - Astral Indus Life Jacket

I purchased this PFD after taking a nasty swim on a big water release on the Dead River in Maine, where my Green jacket worked well, but really I could have done with more floatation. I am always reminded that we are all between swims, even if you have run the same river dozens of times, incident free. Have not taken a swim in the new Indus yet, but have worn it on kayaking / rafting tips, and really like it. It is not bulky in front, and does not impede your arm movements. You are aware of the extra flotation around your waist, but it does not get in the way at all. Has all of the pockets and attachment points that you need, for any kind of trip. If I get a chance to paddle on something like the Zambezi again, my Indus PFD will definitely be going with me.
