EmH's Review of B&W International Foldon Case
I have been using the Brompton Travel Bag and while it's good for trains, it's not great for planes. The Brompton was surprisingly okay but the bag took a horrible beating and only lasted two flights. When I got home I looked into a hardshell case and saw the B&W International case. It's a typical hardshell luggage case-- TSA keyed locks, pull out handle and wheels. I can fit my Brompton M6R in there but I do have to take my saddle off to make it fit more comfortably. Every Brompton will have a slightly different fit depending on the accessories but in theory I can get what I need in there. What I like is how well it stream lines trucking around the airport. I can rest my duffel bag on the Brompton case and then wear my Brompton front carrier block bag on me. No fuss at all. The protection is there and I like that the bike is protected even more than the soft case. Especially after I saw two bags fall of the airplane at JFK. I would have been livid if that was my Brompton.
