Strong and lightweight shovel. I like how the blade broken down is square, doesn't have anything sticking up. I used one of these on Mt Washington, NH trying to dig a pit after a huge rainstorm and we gave up after smashing one of these into the ice for 10 mins before deciding we didn't need to dig a pit. The shovel wasn't effected
