Simple, lightweight, efficient - Barebones Fire Pit

It's expensive at first glance, I agree. Little to non existent patterns; no "curves" in design; just a regular big shallow bowl with 3 legs; and it cost this much? Those are things that went through my mind when I saw the images and when I saw it personally. However, after using it just once (have used it over 3 times now in < 1 week), I donated my older fire pit. Here are the reasons why:
1) The design is artistically simple; when placed in my backyard, it actually blends really well to my surrounding, which is surrounded by bushes and pine trees. It looks more natural than my previous fire pit which has fancier designs and curvatures in the legs.
2) The height is right, not too far up but high enough to prevent scorching heat at the bottom of the pit.
3) the width is also right. We have used it as charcoal pit twice for dutch oven cooking. Initially, I thought it's too wide at 29" but greatly welcome the additional space for our 10" dutch oven for moving charcoal around.
I later bought a 22" grate from big box stores to allow better oxygen flow; worked great except for the first time when our pizza was overcooked and burnt. Not the fire pit's fault but human's (me).
Very satisfied with this barebones fire pit.
Pros:
Simple yet very functional
Weight, comfort, size
Designed well
Cons:
Price, but worth it.
