Love it! - Berghaus Scafell Down Jacket - Mens

I got my wife the Thermoball by NorthFace and it was a big hit with her. I admit it looks great on her and she says it’s very warm which impresses me because it is the lightest synthetic down jacket I’ve yet seen. The reason I’m saying this is because I kind of wanted that jacket for myself, but felt it was too shiny and looked a bit feminine even in the men’s models. That said I feel I found the right compromise and at a lot lower price (I paid just over $100) from CampSaver. This is a very lightweight and none too bulky real down vest. The baffles are, indeed, smaller than the old school ones and I feel that is part of the fantastic look and warmth at a slim and lightweight bulk. I love the lining, the collar, and the zipper…they all look and work well. This is a world-class lightweight packable jacket with abundant warmth. The logo, while not actually embroidered, looks high-tech and nice…not cheap at all as many silk-screen logos come off as. Maybe this is the final answer
