Update of a classic - Big Agnes Copper Spur UL 3 Classic Tent

The Big Agnes UL3 Classic for 2018 is an update on a proven design of a backpackers favorite. While it may lack the more modern look of some of the newer designs from other mfg's offerings (even Big Agnes) it maintains a structural element of superior rain and moisture shedding along with proven stability in windy conditions. The interior space is ample for 2 along with their gear, head height is adequate for dressing and undressing and the vestibules and doors on both sides make for convenient entry and exit. The taffeta wraparound wall material along with the bathtub floor help to keep heat trapped in the bottom of the tent (where you sleep) and the opposing vents keep the underside of the rainfly condensation free. All in all I am happy to trade function over style when it means my partner and I will stay warm and dry in nasty weather conditions. Also, this tent has a total of 8 misc. gear pockets and nylon loops on the underside of every tent pole clip for hanging things or adding a gear loft. Overall a solid well made tent to protect you from whatever Mother Nature throws at you in the backcountry.
