wander woman's Review of Big Agnes Cyclone SL Chair kit
I ordered a factory demo. It looked new. weighs 7.5 oz, (9 oz in it's carry sack which does not have to be used) holds my 3/4 thermorest self inflatable pad and provides the needed back support. Is comfortable perched atop my bear can, a log or a rock, or seated on the ground. can rock in it. Easy to insert the pad. To protect the fabric from abrasion I put my thermorest z sit pad under it (adds a little more cushioning as well). I suspect the fabric may be a bit fragile so some care should be taken to be gentle with it. +I haven't taken it camping in the wilds yet but have set up camp in my rural yard and found the chair to be very comfortable. It's 16" by 1.25" x.5" when folded up and inserted into its carry bag, thus it easily slides into an outside pocket of a pack. When not configured as a chair it can be laid out as a large clean cloth to lay food, clothes or gear on. The aluminum stabilizing rods are stiched into the sides of the chair and can't be removed. I personally would prefer removable foldable shock corded stays but it's not a big deal for me. I'm 77, 5' tall female and I really missed having comfortable seating with back support so am looking forward to having this chair on a forth coming thru hike of the John Muir Trail.
