This bag worked for what it was intended, backpacking. It's rated at 20 degrees. With the windchill, we were tent camping in 11 degrees (27 degrees without factoring in wind). It kept me warm enough with 2 base bottoms and 3 base tops. Foot box was ok but not as warm as the upper part of the bag. I liked the drawstring around the hood. I am a big girl, so it was kind of snug too. However, for the price, it was a good choice and kept me warm in unexpectedly cold conditions.
