For many years of tent camping my husband and I used a tarp as a ground cloth. Inevitably, when it rained, which it always seemed to do, the tarp would catch water causing pooling under the tent floor which would eventually seep up into the tent. The Big Agnes Footprint has been amazing. Tucked snuggly under the tent floor it not only does a great job of protecting the tent but also keeps the floor nice and dry even in heavy rain. I'll never camp without the Big Agnes Footprint again!
