Lightweight yes, water proof, maybe not - Big Agnes Tiger Wall 2 Platinum Tent

Kw's Review of Big Agnes Tiger Wall 2 Platinum Tent
I bought this tent for a 3 day backpacking trip. Primarily due to its weight and the fact that I have another big agnes that I love ( weighing only slightly more) while the weight is perfect and I had no problem with setup. We camped near the water one night, and even without any rainfall my tent began to leak water droplets onto the screening area. My partner did not have this problem with his tent. Rainfly was saturated inside and out Maybe it was just unlikely conditions, as there was alot of fog and mist, but when a tent is your only shelter, being dry is a huge factor. If an extra pound will keep me dry, I will carry that extra pound.
Pros:
Super lightweight, easy set up, attractive.
Cons:
Waterproofness
Best Used for:
Backpacking
