Great 'bella - Birdiepal Swing Liteflex Trekking Umbrella

i purchased this item based on reviews at backpacking light. I was looking for a good multi-purpose umbrella for desert heat, afternoon thundershowers, wind and to augment my tarp in the event of overnight rain. It stood up well to all conditions, including in its folded position when I used it to spread the shrubbery on an overgrown trail. At just less than 1/2 pound it served well in lieu of a raincoat as the dome does a good job of enclosing the upper body. It is almost but not quite roomy enough for two people to huddle beneath during a cloudburst. It definitely was enough for me and a plump backpack. Highly recommended if you will face desert heat. It catches a tiny breeze and swirls it around your torso to increase evaporation
