I've owned several lower end poles, so my review may be biased since these are way better than those. So far i've used them in snow and I am very happy. Moderately light weight since they have some extra foam below the cork to add comfort when choking up during climbs which I like. The feel is solid throughout. I purchased these specifically for the cork handles, which have a comfortable grip. I like how easy they fold up and they fit inside my pack giving my a great option. The only drawback is the price
