Versatile warm layer - Black Diamond Crux Hoody - Women's

The Crux hoodies is a highly versatile and lightweight. It is great alone or over a baselayer. I use it regularly for trail running in cold weather, but have also used it for hiking and skiing. This hoodie is my first with a "scuba" hood, which comes up higher than a typical hood and because the Crux is made of highly stretchable material, it fits close around your face. On cold days, that makes a big difference -- it really holds the warmth in and keeps the cold out. I like it so much, I now own two of these. I would say that it runs true to size. I was also happy to see that it doesn't seem to pill or snag easily.
