Outstanding shell. - Black Diamond Front Point Shell - Men's

The weight and duarbility combination for this shell can’t be surpassed. I've used it mainly for backcountry skiing. Initally the medium fit seemed borderline snug for wide freedom of movement, and I contemplated going with a large. I’m glad I didn’t—there’s a bit of give or stretch in the material and it broke in after a few days to the point I forget I’m wearing it, with a thick baselayer and down or synthetic mid-layer. Length is perfect (covers back-side with a couple inches to spare). For reference, I’m 5 ft 8 in with broad shouders and long arms for my height. I would like to see a little more space at the base of the neck where the
cut seems to pull inward a tad. A small interior or arm pocket and a 2 way zipper would be a nice touch. Beyond no complaints. It’s a solid piece.
