Great pack, but thin straps - Black Diamond Mission 75 Backpack

I really wanted to love the DB Mission 75 pack - I tried it in a medium and large. PROS: It's well constructed and thoughtfully designed. I like the main pocket side access zipper and all of the adjustment pulls are in the right spot. CONS: For me, the shoulder straps and hip belt were much too thin and didn't have nearly enough padding. Also, the shoulder straps were much too close together at the top - so much so that they pinched my neck and shoulders, even when weighted. I'm 6'1", 167 lbs with a 40-41 chest. I finally went with the Mountain Hardwear South Col 70 in a size M/L.
