I received a pair of "Notion pants" back in 2013 (ish) as a Christmas gift. I used them for everything- bouldering, bike rides, gardening, traveling, sightseeing, etc etc.
whilst they hadn't worn out, I wanted to make sure I got another pair before the design changed. I was too late - the design *has* changed - BUT...despite not having the high elastic waistband that I love so much in my "2013 Notions" these are comfortable, smart and I think will be durable.
