I found this stiffer than my old Salomon XWave 9 boots. Actually a little too stiff for my skiing. The walk mode's range of motion is amazing. Super light and super burly. Well built with a good buckle system. I'm looking for a boot that is great touring or at the resort, and this fits the bill. I usually wear 28.5 or 28 and needed to go 29 with this boot.
