It's bright, turns on easy with gloves on, doesn't turn on in my pack, comfortable strap and it can be recharged in the car on the way to the trailhead. Red night-vision mode has proximity and strobe settings. has a battery charge meter too. It also activates without cycling through the white mode. Two thumbs up!
