Tom's Review of Black Diamond Trekking Pole Tip Protectors

The pic is the old version. I have over 500 miles on my black carbon poles, and have been thru about 4 sets of these. The clacking of the carbide tips on concert and asphalt is maddening after awhile, and these help. The new version has a solid center with little dubs around it, which likely will extend the wear. I credit these for extending the life of the poles...which have proven to be exceptional.
