The outer shell is not durable at all, and can be damaged very easily. On the first day of use, while setting up top rope, I hit a tree branch with my head while scrambling uphill. Not a serious blow at all. This should not even have scratched the helmet. But the helmet was almost pierced through! The dent was almost 1/2 cm deep. I was shocked, and disappointed, frankly. Returning the helmet today. This helmet can be used for fashion, perhaps, but not for climbing.
