These socks were worn often while in Alaska. It was raining at least half the time. The socks were worn with low hikers that were somewhat water resistant. They were warm and very comfortable on several longish hikes, even when wet. On a horseback riding adventure, we crossed a river and my toes got a bit wet. Despite the also socks being a bit wet, they remained warm. I'd recommend them.
