Trail Ranger's Review of Brooks Cascadia 14 GTX - Women's
This is my second pair of Brooks Cascadia trail running shoes. Once again, I am pleased with how they fit and feel on te trail. I run in some pretty rough and rocky terrain and find that these shoes offer excellent traction -- no slipping whether it is wet and muddy or in loose rock on a dry trail. I also find that when I am running down steep hills, my foot doesn't tend to slide forward in the shoe, which prevents me from injuring my toes. I have comparatively wide feet and appreciate the roomy toe box. Despite getting these pretty dirty right away (my first trip out in them was in about 6 inches of snow), they are surprisingly waterproof. All in all, I am happy with this purchase, particularly since I got them at a significant discount through CampSaver.
Pros:
waterproof
Good traction
Cons:
pricey
Best Used for:
Trail running
Would Recommend:
