I picked up a full set of these and a double set from white to "purple" (#2?). The middle to larger sizes (2.5-4) offer less of a weight benefit then their smaller and larger companions. Numbers 5-7 are bent aluminum, while the rest are forged. The middle range is also a bit harder to place in my opinion. They dont feel as secure as the smaller/larger ones.
