Because this reservoir has a different hose size than virtually all other water filtration, storage, and gravity fed systems it will not integrate into these systems and is therefore of very limited use and a pain in the field. It is a dinosaur.
Pros:
  • Cheap sturdy
Cons:
  • Non-standard size and fit.
Best Used for:
  • day hikes where you have potable water
