Good mug, needs better lid - CampSaver HydroFlask 12oz Coffee Mug with Camp Saver Logo

This mug keeps my coffee very hot for about an hour. After two hours, it's lukewarm. I think if it had a better lid, it would likely keep fluids hotter for a longer period. The lid design also prevents it from being a travel mug. Specifically, the lid has about a 3/4 inch opening on side (for sipping) and a smaller hole on the opposite side. There is no way to close these holes, so if your mug tips over, you'll spill your drink.

The lid doesn't slide open or shut, which is contrary to what the description of this mug on this site states. You can separately purchase a lid that slides open and shut for about $10. For sitting around drinking coffee, I think it's fine. But if you want to travel with this, you might want to get a mug with a more secure lid.
