Great parka - sizing needs to improve - Canada Goose Expedition Parka - Men's

You get what you pay for, is the old adage. Applies here. Top notch, quality is obvious from the moment I pulled the coat out of the box. I can't imagine a better goose down garment. It has heft and almost seems like a high-end sleeping bag.

My only complaint is the sizing. I am 6'1" , 220 pounds. I wear a 46 US suit coat size, 36" waist trousers - and order XL in nearly every generically sized shirt/sweater/jacket etc. After researching several sources/comments I ordered a Large in this parka. And it is very roomy on me. It fits good in the shoulders, but is 'almost' too big through the gut and hips. I don't think I've ever been a Medium, even going back to childhood. I'll keep the Large and maybe "grow into it" ha ha. Again, great parka if you can afford it.
