My wife has had a pair of Chaco sandles for 10 years. She wears them a lot, yet they are in great shape; she loves them. So, I choose these Chaco Hiking boots over some Merrill and Keen options. They have great arch support and they are comfortable. I was incredibly disappointed when they had a seem split open after less than one month. Now I have to deal with trying to return them-meanwhile, I have nothing to wear!
