I used the stainless version with the Trangia burner all last season for fishing trips in the canoe and finally bought one of these on sale. The stainless was heavier than I cared to take backpacking but cut that weight in half (almost exactly) and keep every ounce of functionality and it's the most ideal out of the box alcohol stove setup I've ever used and I've tried pretty much tried all of the
