AK Outdoors's Review of Columbia Canuk Titanium Omni-Heat OutDry Winter Boot - Men's
This columbia boot was rated to -65F. The temperature rating is fiction. I used this boot twice. The first use was standing along a frozen river photographing the northern lights. The temperature was 15F ABOVE zero. I had on a heavy wool sock in this boot. My feet were cold within an hour. Today I rode my winter bike 12 miles across a frozen lake. I was very active (sweating) during the ride. My toes on both feet were cold, so cold in fact, I turned around. My toes on both feet are frost nipped. I am a citizen athlete. I have no circulation problems. I have lived in Alaska for over 19 years. These are the coldest winter boots I have ever used. DO NOT BUY this boot if you want warm feet. I also wrote the same critique to Columbia. If I could rate them worse than a one star, I would. Be aware that boots, used once, are considered "used" by Campsaver and can only be exchanged for another product or receive store credit
