I had read many rave Crispi reviews about how comfortable they are and that they require hardly any to no break in time. These boots are amazingly comfortable and well built. Sure the price is steep, but most great boots that are built to last are in this price range. I live in New Mexico and was looking for a rugged yet lightweight boot that's versatile for the heat and rocky landscapes to the mountains and monsoons that NM has. One of the only boots that I've found that fit me right are the original Salomon quest 4d gtx boots. These Crispi boots are like the Salomon 4d gtx original 1st version but on steroids with amazing Itallian craftsmanship, and seem like they will hold up and last much longer then the Salomons that I wear. I'm primarily a hiker and have feet that run hot, so I like the breathability of these Wyoming's. The best part is they fit my odd shaped foot perfectly, I have picky feet and most boots just don't feel right or give me heel blisters. These boots lock the heel into place and have a roomy toe box that works for my feet. I wear size 14, have narrow heels, a wide toe area, normal to low volume feet and low to normal arches. If you have big wide high volume feet and like Kenetrek's or boots for big heels these boots are not for you. If you like how Salomon, Hanwag, and Scarpa fit then you will love these. The Crispi Wyoming's are well worth the money and have no break in time. Crispi is my new go to boot, Mr. Picky feet finally found a good fitting and comfortable boot!
