Halfachance review - CRKT Onion Halfachance Parang Knife w/ 14in OAL

This is an exceptional blade; it's sharp, feels good in the hand, swings well and looks sick as shit, but I have a sort of problem with it. I went out into the trails behind my house to use this blade to cut back on some invasive plants, but a good deal of trouble actually cutting into the brush. It would take any where from three to eight attempts to cut the branches off a single plant on the trail making the work very lengthy and tiring. As well, when i got back home I noticed that the blade had been severely damaged by the use, and that was the first time I used this blade for that purpose.

The machete still works, but this blade is best suited, in my opinion, for chopping into trees and other large, grounded plants that an axe would be able to manage.
