Crua means strong! - Crua Outdoors Loj Tent

We've had our Crua Loj since 2019. Crua means strong/hard in gaelic. The Loj is no exception. Built like a tank, we've had ours set up during some extreme wind events (60mph) & it never let us down. Yes, set up & take down times are long, but it's a huge tent. You won't need to hire a dozen carnies to help, but it will take some time. For the wifey & I about 1 1/2 hours! 4 souls can have it up is 45 minutes, easy! We set ours up as a hunting base camp here in the mountains of West Virginia. Then in the spring for trout fishing. In the summer, we'll set it up for a local tribe/prepper group for a week! Before the Crua, we had an Alaknak II from Cabelas for 5+ years. Great tent, but a 4 rating. Aluminum poles compared to Cruas military grade steel. Besides the price, (you get what you pay for) the only downside is the stakes. We replaced the stakes that came with it for steel ones! The Crua Loj is a solid 5 ***** all day long!
Pros:
Solid set up, made well!
Cons:
Stakes, price!
Best Used for:
Group camping
