I use this backpack for class and track practice. It carries the books I need for class and the small pocket in front even fits my spikes. Most backpacks look bulky when you put a lot in them but this one does a good job at hiding everything in it. Haven't used it boarding but I bet it's spectacular. Only downfall is that it's not waterproof, at all. Set it down for practice on a misty day and all
