Great low tech boot - Danner Mountain 503 Casual Boot - Men's

I ordered the Danner Mountain 503 in black. It looks just like the pictures. It is sleeker than most boots with the metal speedlace setup. They are quite comfortable as a low key day hiking shoe, or to be used in the city. I wouldn't use them with much of a load on my back, as they don't have a shank. In boots I order a .5 to 1 size bigger than my regular Nike running shoe size. I ordered a .5 size large in these and they fit with plenty of room left in the toe box. I put superfeet green in them and they have been very comfortable. I have already walked about 4 miles in them, and believe they will continue to be very comfortable as a light boot.
