These boots are for pros and are the best on the market, not to mention Reese Witherspoon wore them in her film, "Wild". They fit true to size. Because they are for serious hikers, they need a long breaking-in period. The price at Campsaver was great at 40% off. No other store had a sale like this. I bought them for a trip to Alaska but am returning them because I don't think I will have them broken in by the time of the trip. They are super cute, even with dresses. They would be great for those living in cold climates, but I live in California. They were overkill for my needs but I highly recommend them for others. They are made like shoes and boots used to be made with great quality and craftsmanship. The silver brads are sturdy. I love the red strings.
