It's my first time to have used Darn Tough, and these socks worked fine. We went to winter hike Mt.Gongga(Konka) in south Sichuan, China, but did not complete the trail thanks to a co-hiker's body condition. However,these socks did empress me a lot. Odor-free. Warm. Tough. The only omplaint I got is that the stitching chafes the upper backs of my second toes if bootlaces tightened hard. (Well mayb
