Garym's Review of Deuter Futura 30 EL Backpack
I’ve owned a few Deuter packs, and they are real workhorses. This one is no exception. It is well made and durable. I like the way the rain cover has its own pocket. Th back suspension system is effective at reducing a sweaty back. The internal frame helps with carrying a heavy load, but it does contribute some weight itself. It has all the bells & whistles you’d expect from a high end pack. I bought this particular model because I need a 30L pack for winter hiking, plus I am 6’3”. My previous pack is fine, but it is so nice to have a pack that actually fits well.
Pros:
- durable
- Lots of features
- Fits tall hikers
Cons:
- Heavier than a non-frame pack

- HIKING
