plenty of room for everything you need for a day hike or multiple days camping or hiking trip. Went to Adirondacks for week long trip lots of hiking pack is comfortable to carry especially with the mesh vent that keeps it off your back and waist adjustable strap keeps the weight even so it's easier to carry longer. Used one before and new one is just as good.
