I purchased this bag for cycling through Vietnam and Cambodia. I also use it to carry my gym clothes. The overall capacity in the main compartment is not huge but it does the job (jacket, bike shorts, extra shirt and socks). I also used it to carry my 15" 2012 Macbook Pro. It will fit in there, though you have to tuck each corner manually to make it zip. Once in, it's fine.
