Doug's Review of DMM Mantis Belay

I was surprised at how "grippy" it was with a range of rope sizes. It says it can go all the way down to 7.3mm. I didn't try it with that small of dia but have no reason to believe it would not operate as smoothly after watching a 8mm go thru it.
I bought it because of the light weight (very light) and am not disappointed with the functionality of it. Give up extra weight, but keep all the performance, perfect for my needs.
