Strangely the flyer tucked inside the thermos states that it is to be used for cold liquids only! It goes on to explain that hot liquids will cause scalding. I am at a loss as to the reference of scalding; scalding the liner or scalding me when drinking a hot liquid!?!?! If the legal department added this caution to avoid a lawsuit over burns it is ludicrous. The main purpose of a thermos is to keep cold liquids cold and hot liquids hot. If I scald my lip or tongue that is for me to deal with.
