Assuming you also use a comparable top quilt, I highly recommend the Vulcan Underquilt for cool weather camping above freezing. It is too warm for camping above about sixty degrees and if the temp were below freezing I would add a good quality sleeping bag.
Pros:
- Very warm, easy to use.
Cons:
- Too warm for summer camping
Best Used for:
- Cool weather with a comparable top quilt
