There is a trade off with this harness; very comfortable in hanging belays but also seems bulky. Certainly more appropriate for long routes, versus cragging for the day. I have a 32” waist and average thighs, the medium fits well. There is a plastic insert on the leg loop part that connects to the belay loop, assume this is to reduce wear. This is the first time I’ve seen this on a harness.

Best Used for:

Long routes, route developing, route setting.
