Michiistheway's Review of Edelweiss Challenge Sit Harness
I got this for a simple harness that will fit a large variety of people on easy Class 4 and glacier travel. This is relatively lighweight because there's nothing extra on it at all: no padding, no separate tie-in/belay loops, no gear loops. What it does have is extra long straps to fit many different people, double back buckles so you can't forget to double back your buckles and fall out of your harness, adjustable leg loops, and 2 different colored leg loops to avoid confusion when harnessing up (an especially thoughtful feature when at altitude and you've got lizard brain and can't think properly). It would be nice if they had attachment loops so you can rig up gear loops with accessory cord and plastic tubing, if you so choose, and if it had a hook or Fastex buckle on the elastic leg attachment straps so that you can go to the bathroom without having to take off your harness.
Pros:
Fits a large variety of people. Simple.
Cons:
No gear loops. No drop seat capability
Best Used for:
Gym climbing, camps, ropes courses, glacier travel and basic mountaineering.
Would Recommend:
Yes
