Exactly what i wanted. - EK Ekcessories Dri Cat iPhone 5 & 5s 3 in 1 Retention Kit

The Dri Cat iPhone Retention Kit fits my ipod PERFECTLY. This is exactly what I was looking for. My search is over. Thank you EK Ekcessories.

Pros:
Even though it is designed for an iPhone, it still fits an ipod, with no room for errors (fits like a glove).
Good grip. The nylon lanyard is strong & thick, hangs on & I hardly feel the weight of the ipod or the case.
The lanyard also has a rubber tie, so I can easily pull the two pieces of lanyard together like a dress tie & the case ends up hanging by one piece of nylon string (two strings become one as I tighten it). I purchased the white, so it is highly visible. It also comes with a carabiner & a press clip, so I have an option (press clip the case or hook it with the carabiner). The plastic casing is hard & durable. The case also opens & shuts with a lock & it seals the ipod in - no chance of the device falling out when I am running or working out.

Con:
The plastic screen protector is very thin & sticky, I hope it won't rip or unattach itself from the adhesive inside the case through the course of time. When sealing the device in the case, it becomes difficult to press out the excess air & slack, resulting in bubbles on the screen device (it's not like pressing out the excess air from a phone when applying a screen protector, the hard plastic prevents me from completely sealing the ipod screen to the case screen protector). I have access to the on/off, volume switches or the charging port.

Over all: I give this item an 8 out of 10, because it does resolve my needs, even though I have to work around certain obstacles that are not too serious. Thank you to the makers of this product.
