This pot is traditional good quality from Esbit. Nice anodized aluminum as most of their other items. I have about a dozen or so Esbit products and have not had an issue with one of them. Esbit products just look good. Seriously, they mean business. This pot is no exception. It's 2.35L capacity is nice but it's big so this is not for a two person backpacking trip. However if you have a group going and can swap carrying it it wouldn't be too bad. The post comes with a mesh sack, pot gripper (a nice one too) and a pot holder. The handle rolls up nicely inside the pot holder which has a tie on it so it doesn't bounce around inside the pot and scratch it. This pot has plenty of room for just about any stove. I think my old XGK may have fit it it. The heat exchanger works well heating up the contents quickly. I hope to get out inside the next month or so to run a couple of tests to see just how much faster. Some folks will need to keep in mind the size of the heat exchanger ring. The inside opening not including the outer exchanger is less than 4". The exchanger ring's diameter is 5.75". Most stoves should be ok but keep in mind you will not be using this pot with one of those micro isobutane stoves at this pot is just too big and would be unstable. A three legged stove would be a minimum. Oh and at half the cost of Amazon...what is not to like? :)
