Awesome tent, waterproof and roomy - Eureka Taron Basecamp 4 Tent - 4 Person, 3 Season

Got this tent last month then took it out for a shakedown camp a week ago. The tent is roomy and comfortable with plenty of room for my fiancee and I to stretch out and stash all our gear safely, both inside and under the vestibules. The tent goes up quick and sits very secure, as we would soon find out.

We had a couple of great days of spring weather in Texas, then on the 3rd day, the skies opened up. Bastrop State Park was deluged with rain, winds, and thunder. We were snug inside and this tent didn't leak a drop, despite not having a proper footprint for it (we just used a tarp that didn't quite cover the whole base). The severe thunderstorms had wind gusts over 40mph and a POURING rain all night. Not a single drop leaked or oozed into the tent. Incredible. The next morning, the park rangers couldn't even get to work because roads were flooded, it was that bad. Once again, we were happy as clams and dry in our tent.

The Taron Basecamp 4 has a ton of storage pockets, media pockets, zippers, and tiedowns. This is a serious tent for serious camping, but sets up and takes down so easy.

I couldn't be happier, and we're looking forward to 3 weeks in the Rockies this summer.
