Fits really small - Evolv Venga Climbing Shoe - Kids

Bought a size 2 for a size 13 eight-year-old boy thinking two sizes up would be a comfortable recreational fit. However, it fits tight/small (more like a competition fit) so should have gone at least three sizes, possibly four sizes, up. The rubber and design seem decent enough though.
