The shoes are not as aggressive as I would have assumed.My Serrano Onitsuka Tiger's are about the same weight but have a more slim profile and more support. The tread seems to be what you are paying for here. Very sticky stiff enough over uneven gravel for getting up there. Comfort over performance it seems, going to keep them just not for their advertised purpose.
