Life is too short to wear bad underwear - ExOfficio Give-N-Go Lacy Bikini - Women's

Since I've picked up hiking again, I have discovered this truth, and it has spilled over to my everyday wardrobe. I have not found better underwear than these! I first discovered them when I got off a plane after over 20 hours of flying, running thru airports, making connections, etc. I was physically in that state where I felt so smelly and disgusting that I could not stand myself for another second. A shop at the airport sold these so I got a pair and went and changed into them before I set out to get a cab and find my hotel. I felt SO much better.

Once I had a chance to wear these regularly they went into my hiking clothes rotation. Mainly because they don't hold sweat or smells- they stay surprisingly fresh. And when they do need a little refreshing, you can get away with a quick sink wash with a little soap. Hang them up and they are dry and fresh by morning.

This may be considered gross, but it's just the way it is for hikers who are out for days at a time- these underwear are fresher and more comfortable to wear than others I've tried, and where in the past I'd have to bring half a dozen pairs of "normal" underwear, I can get by with a couple pairs of these. They are the best- I will never switch back.
